Animations

Over the next few weeks, Room 5 will be creating animations for people to watch. Planning and preparation are essential for an effective animation. Often the simple animations are best. Here are some past animations that have been made. Use these as ideas of what to do and what not to do.

Animations are connecting photos of an object being moved along slowly. When you connect these pictures together at speed, it looks like this object is moving independently. The slower the movements, the better and the more pictures taken, the longer the movie.

This animation was created in 2005 and is still one of the best as it is so very simple and good to watch.

These girls worked hard in designing their setting and characters. They also had their animation really well planned out. It was simple and effective.

Please be careful in using dolls or other toys that are hard to stand up, as you can see in this animation.
